How to Prepare for the AP Exam
Step 1: Get an understanding of the overall format of the AP Exam and what percentage of the multiple choice questions are covered from each Unit/Topic. For example, Cognitive Psychology is the Unit/Topic that has the greatest percentage of multiple-choice questions. So you know you should definitely be reviewing that unit! Read this article to learn more about the test format: https://blog.prepscholar.com/ap-psychology-review
Step 2: Make a study plan! Set days and hours that you will commit to studying.
Step 3: Take a Practice Test to see how you are doing and what areas you need practice. AP Central on the College Board website has Free Response Questions and Scoring Guidelines for you to gauge your performance on that section of the test. Step 4: Analyze your results so you can target your studying. Start reviewing concepts, making flashcards, and memorizing concepts. You can review your lessons and your textbooks.
